About this walkthrough

This is a complete walkthrough for Alien Incident.

Using this walkthrough will get you through the game with the least amount of time and wandering around, but may spoil the game and fun of exploring.

(Achievements that can be unlocked but are not really part of the story-related puzzles are written in parentheses.)

Items which can be picked up as inventory items and items which can be constructed by combining or using other items are written with bold text for emphasis.

 


 

Mansion

 

- Watch the opening cutscene.
- After the cutscene, look at trashcan to get a password note.
- Pick up rope.
- Move loose plank.
- Interact with not so loose plank.
- Exit through the door.

- Walk left to the front door, try to exit the building.
- Look at lab coat near the front door to find a stethoscope.
- Go to the next door, which leads to kitchen.
- Pick up matches.
- Pick up fuse.
- Pick up moldy bread.
- Open fridge.
- Pick up crowbar.
- Pick up growth potion.
- Close fridge and exit kitchen.

- Go back to the lab.
- Use crowbar with not so loose plank.
- Pick up big key.
- Open fuse box.
- Use fuse with fuse box.
- Exit through the door.

- Walk up the stairs.
- Use growth potion with plant (growth potion becomes empty jar).
- Use crowbar with pumpkin to get a pumpkin.
- Open door at the right.
- Enter the bedroom.

- Pick up walkman.
- Pick up hammer.
- Open cabinet.
- Pick up videocassette.
- Exit the bedroom.

- Walk to the door on the left, open door and enter the room.
- Turn on lamp (the hotspot is in the dark, on the left side).

- Go to the middle door that is locked.
- Use big key with door.

- Try to open safe.
- Use stethoscope with safe.
- Pick up key.
- Pick up disks to get disk and floppy disk.
- Look at disk.
- Look at floppy disk.

- Go back to the lab.
- Use floppy disk with floppy toaster.
- Use computer.
- In the "Commodore" view, call the elevator up and then quit.
- Go back upstairs.
- Enter the bedroom on the left.
- Try to open closet.
- Use key with closet.
- Walk to closet to use the secret elevator.
- Pick up battery.

- Use rope with ring.
- Walk to shaft to go down.
- In the sewer, pick up piece of paper to get blueprints.
- Look at blueprints.
- Use handle on the wall.
- Push button near the floor.
- Use ladders.
- Walk to front door to re-enter the mansion.

- Go to the locked door next to the stairs.
- Use battery with remote control.
- Use remote control with door.
- Walk to door to enter the locked room.
- Use videocassette with VCR.
- Use remote control with TV.
- Pick up arrow.
- Pick up scissors.
- Pick up radio.
- Go back to the lab.
- Pick up fuse from the fuse box.
- Go back outside.



Outside

 

- Walk to path on the left.
- Look at mailbox near the friend's house.
- Use matches with dynamite.
- After the explosion you are at the 24h Antiques Store, enter it.
- Exchange the arrow for diving suit.
- Walk to road.
- Talk to Sluggs to get observatory keys.
- Walk to path.

- Walk to path on the right.
- Walk to crossroads.
- Walk to cemetery.
- Go as far as you can, and look at lasers.
- Read inscription near lasers.
- Try to talk to statue.
- Look at tombstone (the one with lit lantern in front of it).
- Return to crossroads.

- Walk to path towards south.
- Talk to hippie about everything.
- Agree to trade the walkman with Gameson.
- Walk to park. Keep walking until you see an alien in the phone booth. Make a mental note of what happens there.
- Walk to path on the left.
- Look at signboard.
- Talk to old man, who turns out to be Yodle and gives you a picklock during the conversation.
- Use blueprints with Yodle.
- Use Gameson with Yodle.
- Use radio with Yodle.

- Go back a bit past the signboard and walk to observatory.
- Use observatory keys with door.
- Open door.
- Look at painting to find a fuse box.
- Look at empty slot.
- Use fuse with empty slot.
- Use circuit breaker next to stairs.
- Walk to upstairs.
- Use telescope.
- Pull lever.
- Use telescope.
- Pull switch of the super computer on the opposite side of the room.

- Look at monitor.
- Use disk with disk drive.
- Look at monitor.
- Choose "Scan telescope view".
- Choose "Save co-ordinates".
- After getting an (in-game) error message, exit the computer menu, exit the observatory, and go back to Yodle.

- Walk to door to get inside.
- Look at piece of paper.
- Look at runestone.
- Use moldy bread with parrot.
- Pick up teleport engine.
- Look at teleport engine to tear it apart, you get super radio and Gameson in the inventory.
- Go back to the observatory and to the super computer there.
- Pull switch.
- Use Gameson with slot.
- Pull switch.
- Look at monitor.
- Choose "Scan telescope view".
- Choose "Save co-ordinates".
- Exit the computer menu and pick up Gameson (how is it possible to do this with power on, but attaching Gameson with power on isn't?).
- Use Gameson with super radio to reassemble teleport engine.
- Go back to the cemetary.

- Talk to statue, and repeat the phrase from the runestone.
- Walk to lasers to enter.
- Walk on until you come to a door and puddle.
- Try to open door.
- Use diving suit with puddle.
- Dive down.
- Look at propeller.
- Try to open chest.
- Use picklock with chest.
- Look at chest to get an old key.
- Go back up to the door.
- Use old key with door.
- Enter through the door.
- Walk to ladders to go down.
- Push button next to the machine.
- Pull switch in the flickering light.
- Walk to ladders to go up.
- Look at grating.
- Pull switch.

- Go back to the puddle.
- Use diving suit with puddle.
- Dive down.
- Swim to propeller to enter the maze.
- Go through the maze. If you can't figure it out, here's how to do it: first open door to enter, then up, right, up, up, up, up, right, up.
- When you see a skeleton go to it, pick up pickaxe.
- Go through the maze again to exit. If you can't figure it out: first walk to stairs, then left, down, left, left, left, left, down, down.
- Use pickaxe with fence.
- Look at rope to cross over.
- Walk to doorway.
- Go through another maze. If you can't figure it out: first walk to door, then left, up, up, right, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, right, right, down, down, down.
- When you come to a chamber with only one door, try to enter through it, and a portal will open on the wall. Watch the cutscene that follows. During the cutscene you get a phone number.

- Go to the park with the phone booth.
- Pick up pumpkin mask. (Note: this is optional. Alternatively you can use scissors with pumpkin to create one, either works. If you are carrying an unmodified pumpkin, picking up the pumpkin mask will replace it.)
- Use teleport machine with wires.
- Pick up receiver.
- Use phone number with phone booth.



Alien spaceship

 

- Aboard the alien spaceship you have only three inventory items: scissors, phone number, and pumpkin mask.
- Right click pumpkin mask to wear it.
- Walk through the door at left. If you are wearing the pumpkin mask, you can pass the scanner. If you are not, you end up in prison.

- If you end up in prison, there is a way out, even though some walkthroughs claim that it's a dead-end or that it is somehow bugged. Getting out of there is very easy.
- Look at shackles. There are four of them on the wall, the right one is lower left. A shaft will open.

- Walk to shaft to exit. You will end up in the teleport chamber through a hatch. Note that you can't use that hatch to go back. If you try to exit the teleport chamber without wearing the pumpkin mask you will always end up in the same prison cell.

- After scanner, walk to door on the left.
- Walk to door on the left again, to enter the elevator.
- After learning about security card, return to the teleport chamber.
- Pick up security card that is on top of the console. Note that you can't take the card when you enter the spaceship, you must visit the elevator first.
- Return to the elevator.
- You can now start exploring the ship, with the lights showing which areas you can access with your security card. Click a highlighted level to enter it. The starting point is the first level, which is the top-most light. (The light system really doesn't make much sense in relation to level graphics and elevator movement animation.)
- Go to the third level.
- Walk right to find a waiting room.
- Push button on the ticket machine.
- Pick up queueing number.
- Push button again.
- Pick up queueing number, the inventory item changes from queueing number to queueing numbers.
- Push button again. You will automatically get lots more numbers, and the inventory item changes to lots of queueing numbers.
- Use security card (from the prison) with console outside the waiting room.
- Go to elevator and go to the seventh level.

- Walk to door on the left to enter the prison area.
- Keep walking left until the guard talks to you, choose "The Boss wants to see you. Now" from dialogue options.
- After the guard leaves, you can talk to uncle and Yodle, although that is not necessary. Walk right and try to leave the prison area.
- Pick up security card from the slot next to the door.
- Use security card with slot.
- Walk to the elevator.
- Use the new security card in the elevator, and there is a new location on the third level (the leftmost lit bar). Choose the new location.
- Walk right to meet a maintenance man.
- Talk to maintenance man about everything until you receive a badge.
- Go back to the elevator and go to the other location (waiting room) on the third level.

- Use security card (from the prison) with console.
- Walk to the waiting room. A cutscene follows, watch it. After it you will have one more security card in the inventory.
- Pick up ring from the floor near the broken ticket machine.
- Return to the other location on the third level, where the maintenance man was.
- Use security card (from Boss) with card slot.
- Walk through the door.
- Use security card (from Boss) with card slot to open the airlock.
- Try to walk to escape pod.
- Go back to the elevator and return to prison, the seventh level.
- Use ring with slot on the left wall.

- Look at LCD display.
- Go back to the elevator and go to the waiting room on the third level.

- Use security card (from the prison) with console.
- You can try fooling around with the security console, but in the end choose what you learned before: cell block 01, deck 38. (The deck numbers really don't seem to match anything, but ignore that.)
- Keep pushing buttons until force fields open.
- Go back to the elevator and return to prison, the seventh level.
- Watch the cutscenes and credits.
